Who we are
James Tirecraft’ s mission is to provide quality peace of mind service to our customers through honesty, integrity, and exceptional customer care.
James Tirecraft’s vision is to evolve into an industry leader, fostering growth and success for both the company and our employees.
OUR STORY
In the spring of 2007, James Truck and Trailer opened its doors and quickly earned the nickname "James TNT." Like its explosive namesake, the shop experienced rapid growth, with new customers rolling in daily. This momentum fueled our commitment to expanding and enhancing the services we provide to our valued customers.
In 2010, James TNT became the very first Signature Tire Centre store in Canada, setting the benchmark for quality and service.
By 2014, we expanded our service offerings by becoming a NAPA AutoCare Centre, delivering reliable automotive repair and maintenance services to a wider range of customers.
In 2016, we proudly partnered with Carrier Refrigeration, representing their brand in the Okanagan. This partnership included a dedicated service truck for refrigeration repairs across BC’s Interior, enabling us to meet the needs of the region’s commercial trucking industry.
In January 2018, we rebranded as James Tirecraft Commercial Truck Centre, marking the next phase in our evolution. This transition allowed us to better communicate the breadth of services we provide and our ongoing commitment to our customers.
In 2020, we added Traction Heavy Truck Parts Store to our operations, further expanding into aftermarket commercial and heavy-duty truck parts to serve customers across the Okanagan, both north and south. That same year, we became an authorized Maxon Lift Gate Repair vendor, leveraging years of lift gate experience to deliver top-tier repair and sales support for commercial trucks.
In 2021, we joined the TruckPro Network, aligning ourselves with this respected brand to expand our national capabilities and strengthen our connection with the UAP Heavy Duty Group.
Today, we proudly operate as James Tirecraft, TruckPro, Traction Kelowna, delivering unmatched service and expertise to our customers. From your grocery-getter to your big rig, let our friendly and professional team show you the James Tirecraft difference!

Personally, I am interested in aviation, weather, technology, and science, and I like to challenge myself with Sudoku and crossword puzzles to keep learning.
Tyler Lloyd - Parts Manager
With almost 20 years in the parts industry, I started my career at a large truck dealership in Edmonton. Over time, I've developed skills in all areas of the parts department. In 2019, I moved to the Okanagan for family reasons and took on a management position with a parts supplier for logging and trailers. In January 2022, I became the Traction Heavy Parts Manager at James Tirecraft, bringing deep knowledge of the heavy-duty sector, including trucks, trailers, logging, mining, refuse, and both aftermarket and dealership parts.
My core values include customer service, honesty, integrity, and problem-solving, which guide my work. Each day brings new challenges, making my role fulfilling as I help customers get back on the road quickly. Sharing my expertise with staff and customers allows me to make a positive impact.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter. Although my golf game doesn’t match my enthusiasm for it, I still love playing. I also enjoy fishing, working out, and watching hockey. My goal is to create a customer service experience that exceeds expectations. By sharing my knowledge and providing helpful advice, I aim to support trucking companies, even amid supply chain challenges, ensuring they get the right parts on time and at the right price.
